Choose a Beaded Jewelry Kit or Craft Project By Age

Great Individual or Birthday Party Activities for Every Age

We know that kids of different ages have very different tastes. We also know that what appeals to girls often doesn't appeal to boys and visa versa. Vive le difference!

We've designed our portfolio of projects with age preferences in mind, both in terms of skill level and materials.

The projects for younger children are primarily stringing projects and may require some help from parents to tie a secure finishing knot.  The projects for older tweens, teens, and adults may involve more complicated knotting as well as stringing.  Each project is assigned a skill level of "1", "2" or "3" depending on its complexity.

We also vary the bead palettes by age and gender. Our young girls palette is a sumptuous feast of brightly colored beads with plenty of sparkle and bling. We take out the little girl stuff for the tween palette and add some trendier charms and beads. Our teen palette is a further notch up in terms of materials.  Our adult palettes feature semi-precious stones, handmade glass, and exquisitely detailed pewter beads.

"Both of my daugthers (ages 6 and 10) have had Bijoux in a Box parties.  Both were delighted with the selection of materials and projects."
